The trade and economic cooperation between Armenia and Kazakhstan doesn’t correspond to the existing potential. This is what Advisor to the Minister of Economy of Armenia Vahagn Lalayan said during the launch of the “Kazakhstan-Armenia: Exporting Opportunities” event today.

According to him, the development of export trade should become the key component for intensification of trade and economic relations. Lalayan also emphasized that the main issues are the limited variety of products and the restrictions of the countries which Armenia and Kazakhstan trade with.

Lalayan mentioned the importance of cooperation within the scope of the Eurasian Economic Union and emphasized that Armenia has favorable trade regimes with the European Union, as well as the United States and other countries which can create more opportunities for businesses.
