Capital expenditures in Armenia will reach 5% in 2020 instead of 2.8% in 2019, said Armenian Finance Minister Atom Janjughazyan said at the parliament meeting on Thursday.

According to him, health care spending will increase by 22%, and education and social spending - by 11%.

Nevertheless, even under these conditions, Janjughazyan expects that the burden of public debt will decrease and reach a level below 50% of GDP.
