They might be forcing Pashinyan to legalize the so-called Azerbaijani refugees from Karabakh. This is what leader of Adekvad NGO Konstantin Ter-Nakalyan told journalists today.

According to him, in essence, both the Armenian authorities and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs have agreed with the condition that means capitulation for the Armenian party.

“If we add to that the formula that Lavrov presented in Baku, this will create even more problems. Why isn’t anyone telling us what five parties they are talking about? The four parties are Armenia, Artsakh, Azerbaijan and the OSCE Minsk Group. Which is the fifth party? Is it safe to deduce that Aliyev has succeeded in legalizing the so-called Azerbaijani refugees from Artsakh? If yes, this will be the major failure for the Armenian party in the talks,” he stated.

Ter-Nakalyan also expressed concern over the fact that the Armenian authorities aren’t telling the people anything about the results of the talks, and later it is announced that there are agreements on the reciprocal visits of journalists and the Armenian delegation’s upcoming visit to Baku.

On December 4, within the scope of the 26th OSCE Ministerial Council in Bratislava, Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Azerbaijan Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Elmar Mammadyarov had a meeting held through the mediation and joint efforts of OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov (Russia), Stéphane Visconti (France) and Andrew Schoffer (USA) and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzik.
