Nikol Pashinyan’s political party didn’t have influence even before coming to power. This is what President of Healthy Society NGO and former member of the Council of Elders of Yerevan Marina Khachatryan told journalists today.

According to her, before making statements addressed to the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun political party, Nikol Pashinyan must recall that Yelq (Way Out) Alliance had only 7 votes in parliament before the events that took place in the spring of 2018.

She added that the government and parliament need to be dissolved, a new government needs to be formed and additional requirements need to be set for officials. “We need to introduce a requirement for education and demand statements of information on diseases, including mental diseases in order to avoid seeing the government officials we see today,” Marina Khachatryan emphasized, adding that the fundraiser that her organization has launched is also aimed at raising funds to check Pashinyan’s mental health.

During the parliamentary session held yesterday, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan had said the education minister won’t resign because of the whim of a political party.

The youth organization of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun political party has been holding protests for a long time with the demand for the resignation of Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan.
