Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, who is in Bratislava on a working visit, today participated in the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) held as part of the 26th OSCE Ministerial Council, as reported the news service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The foreign ministers of CSTO member states thoroughly touched upon the agenda of the 26th OSCE Ministerial Council, attaching importance to the synthesis of the positions on the issues on the agenda and reciprocal support to the initiatives within the scope of the CSTO.

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan emphasized that such meetings provide a good opportunity to touch upon the issues facing European security and benchmark the practical steps to be taken to solve the issues.

The foreign ministers also touched upon the course of implementation of the decisions adopted by the CSTO during the recent meeting held in Bishkek.

During the meeting with the foreign ministers, Minister Mnatsakanyan touched upon the meeting held with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and, in this context, presented the Armenian party’s assessment on the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.
