YEREVAN. – We have a downturn in the agricultural sector. But we need to understand the extent to which this downturn has to do with previously recorded, for example, false purchases and false exports. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this in his final speech at the 2020 draft state budget debate in the National Assembly of Armenia today.

"The domestic economy has started to work," he added. “But now we have export growth in the agricultural sector. Exports of ready-made foods increased by 14.9 percent, and vegetable products grew by 15.2 percent. Exports of cucumbers increased by 409%. These are ‘healing’ processes."
