On December 11, Moscow will host an auction, one of the lots of which will be the rare letters that Sergey Parajanov had written from his prison cell. The sample of the script for the film “Mirror”, signed by Andrey Tarkovsky, will also be up for auction.

The starting price for Parajanov’s letters will be 320,000 rubles each. The items to be put up for auction are Parajanov’s letters addressed to his sister and cousin, as well as his photos and paintings.
