Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan today met with OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia Miroslav Lajčák on the sidelines of the 26th OSCE Ministerial Council taking place in Bratislava, reports the news service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

Minister Mnatsakanyan congratulated his Slovakian counterpart on the successful OSCE Chairmanship and presented the latest developments of the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The interlocutors attached importance to taking steps aimed at shaping an environment that will contribute to peace and, in regard to this, positively assessed the implementation of the exchange program for journalists of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Artsakh.

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Miroslav Lajčák also touched upon several issues on the Armenian-Slovakian agenda, outlining the actions to be taken for full use of the potential to expand cooperation. They attached importance to the intensification of dialogue at different levels and through reciprocal visits and consultations between the ministries of the respective countries.
