Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia Zaruhi Batoyan has posted on the Facebook page of the Government of Armenia a video recapping the year 2019.

Recapping the year, Batoyan particularly stated that the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs had completed its programs and held social events aimed at supporting vulnerable groups and socially disadvantaged families throughout the year. “Three hundred alumni of an orphanage received certificates to obtain apartments within the limits of AMD 6,300,000, 1,000 families with minors and living in rural communities were included in the phase-by-phase programs for poverty reduction. Within the scope of these programs, citizens receiving family benefits will be able to be involved in cattle-raising. In 2020, our programs will be aimed at providing needs-based support, expanding social-rehabilitative services and, of course, promoting employment.”
