The National Assembly of Armenia is continuing its work today.

There are 40 issues on the agenda, most of which have already been discussed.

The draft law tabled by the majority of the My Step faction, and on amendments to the Law on Operational Investigation, is currently under discussion.

But the National Assembly did not pass last week the draft amendments to law on Service in the National Security Authorities, authored by the opposition Bright Armenia faction, which would have allowed people from outside the system to be appointed as police chief and National Security Service director.

The controversial bill giving the current Constitutional Court members the opportunity to retire early will also be debated in this session.
