YEREVAN. – The National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia adopted today, in the first reading, the bill on making amendments to the law on operative investigations, and tabled by the majority My Step faction.

NA Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan stated that 77 deputies voted in favor, 19 against, there were no abstentions, and 3 deputies had left letters in favor of.

According to the draft, it is envisaged to give the Police of Armenia the right to have the technical means needed to oversee telephonic conversations.
