A while ago, I ended my consultation over the New Year’s events to be held at Republic Square in Yerevan and adjacent areas. This is what Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page today.
He particularly wrote the following:
“A while ago, I ended my consultation over the New Year’s events to be held at Republic Square in Yerevan and adjacent areas. Months ago, I had set forth the objective for Yerevan Municipality and the Government of Armenia to celebrate the New Year with a totally new logic and with totally new content this year, and it seems as though the municipality and government are meeting the objective. So, to those who are planning to celebrate the New Year abroad, I recommend celebrating in Yerevan. As for our compatriots of the Diaspora and foreigners seeking an exceptional place to celebrate the New Year, I unquestionably recommend being in Yerevan on December 31st the latest. The New Year celebration is going to be exclusive and unprecedented at Republic Square in Yerevan. More details will be provided soon.”
