YEREVAN. – The signing of a military-political agreement between Armenia and Karabakh will solve several problems. Giro Manoyan, head of the Political Affairs Bureau and the Armenian Cause Office of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Dashnaktsutyun Party of Armenia, said this at a December 11 press conference.

According to him, this will enable the Armenian side to substantiate the presence of Armenian servicemen on the contact line, which is often pointed out by the Azerbaijani side. “Secondly, the phenomenon will become clear to the international community as well,” he added. “One should not be afraid that the signing of the treaty may receive unequivocal reaction from some international partners, as the conflict itself is not clear, and there will be no easy ways.”

Manoyan noted that it would not be right to say that Armenia did not recognize Karabakh in any way, as evidenced by the presence of the NKR representation in Armenia, the loans being provided, and the meetings of the officials of the two republics. "It is important for Karabakh to establish such a level of relations with 7-8 countries, which will significantly increase its subjectivity,” Giro Manoyan noted. “In this respect, the active work aimed at the international recognition of Karabakh is very important, and this point should be included among the important, priority directions of Armenia's foreign policy."
