YEREVAN. – Four committees of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly of the Eastern Partnership, whose sittings were held in Tbilisi, have adopted all 13 recommendations of the Armenian delegation submitted on draft resolutions. Leader of the Armenian parliamentary delegation to the Euronest, Gayane Abrahamyan, an MP of the ruling My Step bloc, said this at a joint press conference on December 12, at the National Assembly.

In her opinion, this is a serious success that the delegation has been able to achieve. "In the committee on social affairs, in terms of education we have recommended to include a resolution that proposes to exclude in all Eastern Partnership countries manifestations xenophobia, including the sowing of xenophobia at the state level, as well as in the alternative education system; this proposal was accepted, ”Abrahamyan said, explaining that it concerns anti-Armenian propaganda and anti-Armenian policy implemented in Azerbaijan.

At the same time, the deputy underlined that the members of the Armenian delegation submitted 8 proposals to the committee on political affairs. Abrahamyan also noted that the most important suggestion is that Armenia has made quite serious progress in creating a roadmap for the implementation of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement. "The rest of the proposals were about reducing the level of systemic corruption and combating it," she added.
