Armenia has big ministries where there are a lot of idle people who only need to see when the time will come for them to leave the workplace. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said during the government session today.

“Today, I can’t receive information about the country’s potential, economic growth and the economic situation because there are government officials who can’t even draw up a strategy or concept paper,” the Prime Minister said and linked this to education in schools.

“The necessary subjects aren’t taught in schools and universities, and then people ask why Armenian language and literature and Armenian history are removed from the curriculum. It’s because there are people who can’t even write a dissertation devoted to a particular topic on their own.”

According to him, the state apparatus is showing serious resistance. “The whole state apparatus is showing resistance to the revolution that took place. I will crush that resistance. There is no other option because the citizens of Armenia cast their votes for me to make changes in the country.”
