Acting Prime Minister of Lebanon Saad Hariri has addressed international financial organizations with the request to help develop an action plan in the state of emergency in Lebanon, reports AFP.

Donors, including the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, yesterday rejected the request for financial assistance with the expectation of the initiative to form a new cabinet for the implementation of major economic reforms.

Hariri called President of the World Bank David Malpas and Director of the International Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgiyeva on the phone and discussed the technical assistance that the World Bank and the IMF can provide to form a new cabinet and get out of the crisis.
