The protocol put up for discussion implies the exchange of information on certain incomes of legal and natural persons between the tax authorities of CIS countries. This is what Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia Davit Ananyan declared during a discussion on the ratification of the Protocol on Electronic Exchange of Information for Tax Administration between CIS countries held as part of the session of the National Assembly today.

According to him, the document will allow to ensure reforms in tax administration and dodge double tax liabilities. Ananyan clarified that since Armenia independently turns documents into electronic documents, it is interested in turning them into electronic documents during exchange of information with CIS countries.

As far as Azerbaijan is concerned, as the head of the State Revenue Committee noted, if documents are accepted within the scope of the CIS, a standard has been set according to which Baku will act with reservation, and Yerevan — with special opinion.
