YEREVAN. – One should not first curse, especially here in the National Assembly (NA). Artur Manukyan, a member of the majority My Step faction in the NA of Armenia, said this in a conversation with journalists today.

"I think that hundreds of thousands of people were mistaken in voting for the PAP," he said. “The people [there] are businessmen, let them do their business. One way or another, this danger arises when a person leaves his business and comes to the National Assembly. Suppose a person has a hydropower plant and the National Assembly is discussing a bill on hydropower plants; that's a danger, isn't it? It is clear that he will defend his own interests.”

And asked whether those who voted for My step were wrong, he answered: "Maybe; life will show."
