Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan posted a new fact on Facebook.

“Fact number 3: Capital expenditures envisaged by the 2020 state budget have increased by 21% compared to the actual figure for 2017, by 90% compared to the actual figure for 2018, and by more than 30% compared to the 2019 budget,” he wrote. “The draft state budget of 2020 plans an increase of about 102 billion drams in capital expenditures, bringing it to 4.1% of the GDP against the 2.5% in 2018 and the 3.3% in 2019.

In 2020, a total capital expenditure of 287.7 billion drams is envisaged. In 2020, the government does not plan to take budget support loans for the first time in the history of Armenia.

External sources will only include loans that will be used for specific targeted programs and will be debated on and ratified by the National Assembly."
