The interdepartmental delegation of the Republic of Armenia, established for the purpose of promoting the launch of the Armenia-EU visa liberalization dialogue, yesterday had a meeting with Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Czech Republic Jakub Kulhanek in Prague. Among the participants from the Czech Republic were Head of the Department for Shelter and Migration Policy at the Czech Ministry of Internal Affairs Pavla Novotna and Head of the Department for International Cooperation and the European Union Bohumil Hnidek, as well as two employees of the Department for Visas at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed the possible paths to launch the Armenia-EU visa liberalization dialogue, touched upon the cases of immigration of citizens of Armenia to the Czech Republic and reached an agreement on taking steps for more effective implementation of the Readmission Agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the Czech Republic.

On the same day, the Armenian delegation had a meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Head of the Visa Department David Novi at the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The parties discussed several issues related to the current visa regime and talked about the current problems and the prospects for solving them.
