Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan today hosted Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich, as reported the Office of the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister congratulated Mr. Myasnikovich on assuming the new office and wished him effective and prolific work. Pashinyan voiced hope that, under his leadership, the activities of the Eurasian Economic Commission will bring a new sweep to cooperation and expansion of trade and economic relations within the Eurasian Economic Union.

Myasnikovich expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for endorsing him to become chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the strategic paths for advancement of Eurasian economic integration prior to 2025, the current obstacles in the market of the Eurasian Economic Union, etc. Pashinyan attached importance to the increase of volumes of domestic trade turnover within the Eurasian Economic Union and consistent actions for the formation of a common energy market.
