Speaker of the National Assembly of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) Ashot Ghulyan has submitted his documents for registration as a presidential candidate to the Central Electoral Commission and wrote about on his Facebook page.
“In execution of the decision of the 6th congress of the Democratic Party of Artsakh, today the political party submitted my documents for registration as a presidential candidate to the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Artsakh.
To keep the public away from misinformation and reaffirm our position, I deem it necessary to declare, once again, that the Democratic Party of Artsakh will be participating in the elections with its presidential candidate and with a completely new team of candidates with proportional representation,” he stated.
