YEREVAN. – Past daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: The positions of the main actors regarding the referendum [on constitutional amendments] initiated by the RA authorities are already being clarified in the domestic political field (...).

However, in addition to the assessments made by Armenia’s forces and specialists, various international organizations also present their assessments on the subject.

The [Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE)] co-rapporteurs [on the monitoring of Armenia] had expressed their concern over the tension between the Constitutional Court and the Office of the Prime Minister.

The sources of Past newspaper report that the PACE co-rapporteurs will publish a new conclusion-document in a short period of time on developments in Armenia, which include tougher wording.

According to our information, a European delegation will arrive in Armenia concerning the Constitutional Court issues, before the referendum, in order to get a thorough and in-depth understanding of the situation on the ground.
