Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received on Tuesday EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia Toivo Klaar and the head of EU delegation to Armenia Andrea Wiktorin.

Prime Minister hailed the intensive bilateral cooperation between Armenia and EU. He noted that Armenia is preparing for a referendum on constitutional changes and presented the recent developments.

The meeting focused on the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process, Prime Minister reiterated Armenia’s commitment to the peace process in the format of the OSCE Minsk Group and presented his positon and approach to the negotiations.

Pashinyan attached importance to the involvement of Artsakh civil society in confidence building activities, which will contribute to the formation of a constructive atmosphere.

The interlocutors exchanged views on other regional challenges.
