YEREVAN. – The delegation headed by Artak Davtyan, Chief of General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, left for Georgia yesterday for a two-day official visit.

On the same day, Davtyan met with Vladimer Chachibaia, Chief of the Georgian Defense Forces, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The sides discussed issues related to defense, and the opportunities for cooperation in military education and military medicine.

After the meeting, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces visited the Heroes Square in Tbilisi, and laid a wreath at the memorial to the fallen Georgian servicemen.
