By 2019 results, the processing industry, growing by 12%, is the first in the GDP structure for the first time since 2008, among all sectors of the economy, ensuring a 12.1% weight. Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia (RA), Nikol Pashinyan, posted this on Facebook.

"This means that our country's production potential is being restored and developed," he added. “The fastest growth in the RA economy was registered in the sphere of accommodation and public catering services - 27.2%, which is a result of the high growth of the tourism sector.

The second highest sectoral growth was recorded by the financial and insurance services - 22%, which gives hope for a further decline in loan interest rates.”
