During the session of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs of the National Assembly today, Deputy Minister of Finance of Armenia Arman Poghosyan said Armenia will launch the universal system of declaration of property and incomes on January 1, 2022. According to him, Armenia is making attempts to accelerate the introduction of the system, but, taking into consideration the potential and resources, the deadline is set for January 1, 2022.

In his turn, Chair of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs, deputy of the ruling My Step Alliance Babken Tunyan informed that a concept paper is being developed for subsequent amendments to the Tax Code. According to him, the concept paper will contain the drafts regarding universal declaration of property and incomes and mortgage loans, as well as other problematic issues. The deputy stated that field experts and parliamentarians will be developing this concept paper.
