YEREVAN. – The trial of Davit Sanasaryan, head of the State Oversight Service (SOS) of Armenia—and whose respective powers have been temporarily suspended, and of some former SO employees resumed today at a Yerevan court of first instance.

Written evidence in the case is being examined at today's hearing.

At the previous court hearing, Sanasaryan's lawyer had filed a motion to the court to terminate the criminal proceedings against her client, but the court had denied this motion.

According to the indictment, Davit Sanasaryan used his official position as the SOS chief contrary to the interests of the service and failed to fulfill his official duties in this capacity.
