Today at 1:31 p.m. the National Center for Crisis Management of Armenia received an alarm according to which a grassy area was burning on the Norashen-Artsni road, as reported the news service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia. A firefighting rescue squad of the regional rescue department of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations left for the scene and found out that the fire had broken out in the vicinity of Apaven village (near the Georgian-Armenian border). The fire was put out at 2:27 p.m. and left 12 hectares of grass burnt.
