Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Tayyip Erdogan held a phone talk on Friday and discussed the implementation of agreements on the de-escalation zone in Idlib, said Russian FM Sergei Lavrov.

According to him, the talk was dedicated to the need to do everything to fulfill the initial agreements on the de-escalation zone, TASS reported.

Putin and Erdogan also discussed the possibility of conducting contacts on Idlib in the near future at one level or another.
