Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired a consultation today, at the government, on the avenues for the development of biofuel market in Armenia.

"Today we will try to understand what conclusions we have reached and to what extent we consider it feasible to apply this method in Armenia," the Prime Minister said, in particular, in his opening remarks.

The feasibility of briquettes and pellets in Armenia, opportunities to form a viable manufacturer-consumer chain, options for profitable business models, mechanisms of state involvement, and some other relevant issues were discussed at the consultation.

On the margins of future respective courses of action, the Prime Minister instructed the heads of departments concerned to develop a package of recommendations, each with its own part, on the issues discussed, and to submit them together with a full evaluation of the project.
