Talking about the situation created after confirmation of the first case of coronavirus in Armenia during a live broadcast on Facebook, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said the government is receiving news that people who had ordered suites in hotels in Tsaghkadzor are canceling their orders, while others are leaving Tsaghkadzor.

“Our compatriot, who was diagnosed with coronavirus, still doesn’t have a fever. In essence, he has no complaints. True, he’s at the infection hospital, but there is no medical intervention because there is no need for that. He is in his room along with his wife. None of our isolated compatriots has a fever or any symptom either. Currently, 31 citizens are isolated. I would like to thank our compatriots for cooperating with us,” he stated.

"It has already been announced that they have been accommodated at Golden Palace Hotel. We’re doing our best to ensure good conditions for them. We’re receiving news that people who had ordered suites in hotels in Tsaghkadzor are canceling their orders, while others are leaving Tsaghkadzor. I would like to assure everyone that there is no need for that because the citizens isolated in Tsaghkadzor won’t change the situation. These people are under supervision and can’t have other contact.”
