YEREVAN. – First run of “Sunrise over Lake Van” full-length feature film by Artak Igityan will be held at Yerevan’s Moscow Cinema on April 23.

The events are taking place in Garapet Pamboukchyan’s family. The heroes present the 4th generation of Armenians, who emigrated to the U.S. and faced a problem of assimilation. The film tells about Garapet’s son, who revolts against father’s attempts to save his roots, and his grandson, who fell in love with a Turkish girl.

The film was shot in the U.S., France, Western Armenia (Turkey). It stars Jean Pierre Nshanyan (U.S.), Aren Vatyan (Russia), Arevik Martirosayn (France), Gunish Zan (Turkey), Karen Jhangiryan.

The film is directed by Artak Igityan and Vahan Stepanyan. The screenwriters are Armen Vatyan and Aren Vatyan, the operator is Rouben Shahbazyan, art director-Gagik Babayan, music composer-Hayko.
