Due to the coronavirus, the meeting of Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and President of the European Council Charles Michel began without a handshake.

Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan wrote about this on his Facebook page and posted a video.

“I am on a working visit to Brussels. Due to the coronavirus spreading across Belgium, President of the European Council Charles Michel and I are starting our meeting without a handshake,” the Prime Minister wrote.

The outbreak of the new coronavirus (COV-19) was recorded in late December 2019 in Wuhan, central China’s most densely populated city with a population of 12,000,000.
