Two US troops have been killed in Iraq, CNN reported. 

According to the statement, the soldiers were killed while "advising and accompanying Iraqi Security Forces during a mission to eliminate an ISIS terrorist stronghold” in the country.

Nearly 5,200 US troops are in Iraq to assist and train the Iraqi security forces in the fight against ISIS.
