The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia informs that all the subdivisions of the ministry have implemented targeted preventive measures starting from the first day of the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in Armenia and throughout the period of the state of emergency.

“The subdivisions have strictly completed all the assignments earmarked by the Commandant’s Office, accepted applications online and maximally organized the implementation of tasks remotely.

The temperatures of all employees have been taken on a daily basis, and wearing face masks and gloves has been mandatory. People have maintained social distancing in their offices, the cafeteria and other places.

Currently, eight employees of the ministry have tested positive for coronavirus, and forty-six employees are self-isolated,” the ministry’s press release reads.
