YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: Yesterday, the (…) car of the commander of the battalion of one of the Armenian military units was burned from the shooting of the Azerbaijani side.

The shot was fired from Nakhchivan side—from the part of the border where after 2018 the adversary had advanced its positions.

A similar incident had taken place earlier, on April 10; the (…) car of the deputy commander of a military unit was burnt by the adversary's shooting. In both cases, fortunately, there were no casualties.

The last incident took place near Areni village of Vayots Dzor [Province].

The Ministry of Defense news [service] did not officially comment on the incident, but the ministry confirmed the news. They informed that the adversary fired from a large-caliber machine gun (…), the drivers managed to leave, whereas the cars burned completely and are no longer subject to use.
