Head of Tsovagyugh village of Armenia’s Gegharkunik Province Vahram Gevorgyan today told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the village has reported about 20 coronavirus cases over the past two days.

“There are about 10-12 families who have tested positive for COVID-19 over the past two days. The circle of contacts is still unclear. There are no children or people with chronic diseases, and all the patients are between the ages of 30 and 55,” he said.

When asked about the situation in the village and if police troops are centralized to implement stricter control during such outbreaks, Gevorgyan said the following: “There is no need for that because everyone is isolated in their homes, and the village holds discussions with the regional governor’s office of Gegharkunik Province.”
