Based on the violations recorded as a result of monitoring conducted by the inspectors of the Food Safety Inspectorate of Armenia and according to the May 27 decision of the Commandant for the state of emergency, the Commandant today suspended the operation of 12 public food outlets operating in Armenia’s provinces for 24 hours.

The public food outlets violated the sanitary-hygiene norms prescribed by the Commandant’s decision (personnel and customers must wear face masks and gloves, social distancing between tables must be ensured, clients’ temperatures must be taken, a separate closed trashcan for masks and gloves must be in place).

The term of suspension of operation will be extended for economic operators that violate the norms again.
