Unfortunately, the coronavirus situation continues to intensify. Yesterday, Armenia reported 442 new coronavirus cases and 15 deaths. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated during a briefing following the session of the Commandant’s Office for the state of emergency, expressing condolences to the families, relatives and close ones of all those who have died of COVID-19.

“Our analysis shows that Yerevan is the largest hotbed of the virus. In essence, it is safe to state that the potential sources of the virus are everywhere, including the workplace, on public transport, on the streets, in public food outlets, banks and everywhere else. Consequently, the only way out of this situation is observance of the anti-epidemic rules (wearing face masks, washing hands regularly and maintaining social distancing).

It is necessary to rule out any sale at a trade outlet where neither the buyer nor the seller is wearing a face mask,” he said.
