Yesterday Armenia reported 15 deaths, and this is a record-setting number. This is what Minister of Health of Armenia Arsen Torosyan stated during a briefing held after the session of the Commandant’s Office for the state of emergency today.

“Doctors are working round-the-clock, but it’s not always possible to save people’s lives. Although we state that most of the patients with COVID-19 are asymptomatic patients, there is no guarantee that a young and healthy citizen will overcome the coronavirus 100%. You are aware that asymptomatic patients have been undergoing treatment at polyclinics over the past few days, but this has caused some tension between citizens and primary healthcare workers. I would like to call on everyone to present the complaints and shortcomings by calling the hotline of the Ministry of Health (8003) so that the Ministry of Health can give a rapid response,” the minister said.
