YEREVAN. – The purpose of the changes being made in the state-citizen relations is to strengthen the statehood and its potential. Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during Saturday's consultation.

"The time has come also for the widespread declaration [of assets] of individuals and the introduction of a new system of property tax [in the country]. These changes are made to increase the potential of our state, the Republic of Armenia, and through these systems, the state-citizen relations will be changed, and I think that with this, our perceptions and views on Armenia’s budget will be changed,” he said.

The PM added that a considerable political will is needed to make such changes, and that they have that will.
