By Saturday’s decision of Armenia's Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan, who is also Commandant of the current state of emergency in the country due to the COVID-19 situation, the activities of the branches belonging to some businesses have been suspended for 24 hours, and in some cases—for 48 hours.

In making this decision, the Commandant was guided by the government decision to declare a state of emergency in the country, and based on the report on the results of Friday’s monitoring carried out by the Food Safety Inspectorate Body.
