Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan hasn’t been tested for coronavirus since there was no instruction from the Ministry of Health. This is what the parliamentary speaker’s spokesperson Vahan Kostanyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am today.

“Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Speaker of the National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan had contact on the day of the question-and-answer session with government officials in parliament, that is, last Wednesday, and during their interaction, they were wearing masks and were maintaining social distancing,” he said.

When told that there are deputies in parliament today who have allegedly had contact and are attending the parliamentary sessions without having been tested and aren’t complying with the decisions of the Commandant for the state of emergency, Kostanyan said the following: “Government officials and deputies will be tested and isolated and/or self-isolate in case of a medical instruction.”
