Currently, Armenia’s Tavush Province has reported 242 coronavirus cases, 10 patients are actually under treatment, and others are self-isolated. This is what Governor of Tavush Province Hayk Chobanyan told Tavush TV, responding to the questions of citizens’ concern.

“The patients feel fine and don’t need to be transferred to medical centers. There are patients from all regions, but most of them are from the city of Berd,” he said.

A citizen asked why there are no strict restrictions in the city after the cases of coronavirus were confirmed at the factory in Berd, the regional governor said the whole country is under lockdown, and if everyone follows the epidemic rules, there won’t be a need for further restrictions.
