Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: The [majority] My Step [faction] members of the NA [National Assembly] April [2016 war] inquiry committee were well prepared for the telecommunication with former Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.

The committee that is completing its powers has changed its philosophy after the second "call" by Arshak Karapetyan's, adviser to the prime minister, person in charge for the April's intelligence. "Arshak Karapetyan claimed this time that he had reported on time about the imminent military threat, but the command was late in launching measures," a committee member said.

What questions were Nalbandian asked? "In fact, the main goal of the creation of the committee was revealed; that is, as a result of the April war, a change in the status quo was registered in favor of Azerbaijan. In order to place that change within the framework of the "phased" option [to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) conflict], throwing it into the ‘pocket’ of the former [authorities], and to facilitate the work of today's negotiators. Nalbandian was asked about the status quo, created only after the April [2016 war].

A direct question was also raised. Do you think Armenia had found itself in an unfavorable position?’ Nalbandian sharply objected, ‘No. We were in a very favorable position in all in terms, including negotiations.’”
