YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday held a remote consultation with the government on the current situation and development prospects of the civil aviation of Armenia. Tatevik Revazian, Chair of the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia, also took part in the discussion via video link.

The PM was briefed on the ongoing processes in civil aviation.

Pashinyan, in turn, noted that the Civil Aviation Committee should develop in a short period of time a roadmap for further steps until November 2022 and a timeline for its implementation. According to the Prime Minister, measures should be taken not only to improve the level of flight safety in Armenia, but also to increase the competitiveness of local aviation.

Reforms with the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia were also discussed during the consultation.

At the end of the meeting, Nikol Pashinyan instructed the chair of the committee to submit within two weeks an action plan for reforms within the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia.
