The citizen who was infected with and recovered from the coronavirus will be present during the Prime Minister’s briefing tomorrow. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan’s spokesperson Mane Gevorgyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am today, in response to the question why the citizen wasn’t present during the briefing today.

“Taking into consideration the fact that major decisions were made during the session of the Commandant’s Office, at the last minute, we decided to talk about the decisions recorded during the session. The police chief and the citizen were supposed to be attending the session,” Gevorgyan said.

After participating in the session of the Commandant’s Office remotely today, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan gave a briefing with Chief of Police Arman Sargsyan and Deputy Prime Minister, Commandant Tigran Avinyan. Earlier, it was announced that citizen Armine Karapetyan, who had been infected with the coronavirus and had already recovered along with her 12-year-old son, would participate in the briefing.

During the briefing, it was announced that wearing face masks in public open spaces will be mandatory.
