YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: Passions around the RA Civil Aviation Committee do not stop. According to various calculations by experts, it will take at least two and a half years for Armenia to get out of the aviation "blacklist" of the European Union (EU).

As it is known, according to the published decision, the European Commission has put all 7 airlines registered in Armenia on the blacklist of the European Union (EU), depriving them of the opportunity to fly to Europe. According to the European Commission, these airlines do not meet international air safety standards.

Moreover, there are two criminal cases at the RA Prosecutor's Office related to the officials of the committee. According to the first of them, some officials of the committee used their position against the interests of the service, causing particularly large damage to the state, and the other criminal case is related to falsification in official documents from 2016 to 2019, but there is no news about this yet.

It is clear that Armenian airlines shall forget about flights to Europe in the next two and a half years.
