YEREVAN. – We have a situation that is characterized dire, very dire, including warlike. I believe we need calm and clear-headed judgment at this moment, more than ever. Speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, stated this from the NA pulpit Thursday.

"Especially in such unusual situations, panic can do no good to the work,” Mirzoyan added in particular. “Mr. Babajanyan, your words were beautiful, but irrelevant, because there is no such situation that the NA Sessions’ Hall be provided to [COVID-19] patients."

To note, independent MP Arman Babajanyan, addressed the parliament earlier in the day, and suggested allocating Yerevan municipal buildings, the city hall, and even the National Assembly for the needs of those infected with the coronavirus and of the doctors.
